description

The Serrated Block sits at the support end of your clamp, opposite the workpiece. Its stepped profile gives you multiple height positions so you can match the clamp angle to the workpiece height — level clamping means even pressure and no tilting under load.

The serrated face on each step interlocks with the tooth pattern on our Serrated Clamp, creating a positive mechanical lock. Under heavy lateral cutting forces, a smooth block relies on friction alone, while serrated faces create a tooth-in-groove connection that resists the clamp sliding down.

Manufactured from rolled sheet steel, flattened and hardened to HRC 24–32. Available in 5 variants, manufactured to DIN 6334. Sold individually or in pairs.

For setups with large height variation across jobs, use blocks in pairs — one on each side of the workpiece — to keep the clamp level and the clamping force perpendicular. Ships from ready stock.
