description
The Flat Clamp is the simplest hold-down in a T-slot clamping setup — a hardened steel strap with a machined slot for the clamping stud to pass through. Position it over your workpiece, drop in the stud, tighten the flange nut, and you’re cutting.
Its flat profile makes it the right choice when the workpiece surface is already flat and stable — you don’t need serrations to prevent slip because the geometry and clamping force handle it. Common on milling machines, surface grinders and drilling setups where the cutting forces are moderate and perpendicular.
Manufactured from medium carbon steel, hardened and tempered to HRC 24–32, manufactured to IS 4292-1984. Available in 20 variants covering sizes M6 to M39. The stud slot is machined for clean edges and consistent clearance.
Custom lengths manufactured on request for dedicated fixtures. Ships from ready stock.
