The Long Nut provides extended thread engagement compared to a standard hex nut — useful in setups where high torque or repeated load cycling put additional demand on standard nuts.

Where a regular nut engages 6–8 threads, the Long Nut engages significantly more, distributing the clamping load across a greater length of the stud thread. This reduces thread wear on both the nut and the stud, extending the service life of your clamping hardware.
